The Venner PneuX™ is a unique system for the prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) during long-term ventilation. It consists of special tubes (endotracheal tubes and tracheometry drain tubes) made from soft silicon material, along with a tracheal seal monitor which continuously measures the pressure in between the cuff and the trachea, and is which subsequently able to generate maximum cuff pressure. This therefore produces an optimal tracheal seal and significantly helps reduce the risk of aspiration.
